    Apel

    You can apply for APEL.A at MQA’s portal and select Goon International College as the PPA of your choice. You will receive an automated email to register at Goon International College’s URL. Click on that link and fill up the required fields. APEL Unit of Goon International College will contact you after receiving your submission. Alternatively, you can walk in to or call the Marketing Dept of Goon International College and our friendly and helpful counsellors will guide you through.

    You can apply for APEL.A anytime and be placed into the next nearest APEL Intake. Main APEL intakes are monthly . As such, you are advised to apply for APEL.A at least 1 month before the APEL intake or 6 months before your main programme intake.

    The requirements differ for the different levels of APEL.A. Refer to the following table for further information:

    Yes, the assessment fees are as published by MQA. From 1 Jan 2024 onwards, the Exam fees for T-3 or T-4 is RM240

    Generally, it will take roughly 17 weeks from the Orientation, Assessments and for the results to be released. Another 4 weeks is estimated for self-assessment and registration process prior to the Orientation.

    PTPTN

    Borrowers should start repaying the loan 12 months after completing their studies.

  • No. Borrowers are responsible for making repayments according to the specified period without waiting for a Repayment Notice from PTPTN. There is no provision in the agreement that requires borrowers to wait for a notice before making payments.
  • Early repayment is encouraged as repayments made before the start date do not incur service charges.
  • Repayments should be made by the 27th of each month to ensure the transaction is updated in the current month's statement. Transactions after this date will be updated in the next month's statement. However, transactions made until the end of the month via PTPTN counters or PTPTN Marketing Executives will be updated in the current month’s statement.
